A/Professor Max Guazzato

Specialist Prosthodontist

A/Prof. Max Guazzato grew up in Milan, Italy where he completed a Dental Technician diploma and graduated from the University of Milan with a Bachelor Degree in Dentistry with Honours. To further his knowledge, A/Prof. Guazzato completed a PhD at Sydney University in the field of Zirconia and dental ceramics. He then went on to complete a three-year clinical doctorate in Prosthodontics and is registered as a specialist Prosthodontist. A/Prof. Guazzato also has a dental fellowship by examination and is a prosthodontics special field member of the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons. and a fellow of the Pierre Fauchard Academy.

A/Prof. Guazzato has been lecturing and supervising undergraduate and postgraduate research projects at the University of Sydney since 2001 and is a well sought after lecturer internationally in the topics of dental ceramic, cosmetic dentistry and dental implants. His current fields of research are: surface treatment of dental ceramics; tissue-implant interface clinical outcomes of all-ceramic materials. A/Prof Guazzato has published two books and 32 peer-reviewed articles in dental and medical scientific journals. In addition to his commitment with the University of Sydney, A/Prof Guazzato's clinical expertise covers all facets of oral rehabilitation from bone grafting and implant placement, to fixed/removable Prosthodontics and laboratory procedures.

DR LINDA QUACH

GENERAL DENTIST 

BDS (HONS), POST GRAD DIPLOMA IN DENTAL IMPLANTOLOGY

Dr Linda Quach has worked in private dental practice for over 18 years.  She graduated from the Bachelor of Dental Surgery with Honours at the University of Sydney. Dr. Quach hosted a number of academic scholarships, medals and prizes whilst at University and was awarded the University of Sydney Prize in Operative Dentistry, Clinical Periodontics, Clinical Oral Surgery, Orthodontics and the Prosthodontic society scholarship for research in the field of Zirconia and ceramics.  She furthered formal dental education with the completion of a Post Graduate Diploma of Dental Implantology at Charles Sturt University.  Dr. Linda Quach has interest in dental research and has co-authored four articles published in internationally highly acclaimed peer reviewed scientific journals.  She also enjoys teaching at professional continuing education courses for fellow dentists.  You can also find Dr. Quach in the Sydney at DentArtisans in Pyrmont NSW.

Linda’s philosophy is to treat patients as she would her own family. She enjoys conveying information that makes sense with respect, care and dignity. Linda likes to explain dental conditions to her patients to create a partnership where she can guide you in making informed decisions and make self-care efficient and meaningful to ultimately achieve better dental heath for life.

Linda grew up in Sydney attended school at Sydney Girls’ High School which is where she found her love for art and science. She has two children and her favourite past time activities are painting and keeping fit.


DR hamza masood

specialist prosthodontist

Dr Masood graduated with Honours in 2012 from the esteemed University of Karachi, earning a Bachelor of Dental Surgery degree. Following a one-year clinical internship, he was appointed to the faculty of a leading dental institute in Pakistan, where he taught final-year undergraduate students in clinical dentistry. Over the years, Dr. Masood has held academic positions at several renowned dental institutions, mentoring students who have gone on to become successful dental practitioners. His passion for teaching is matched only by his dedication to clinical excellence.

In parallel with his academic responsibilities, Dr Masood maintained a strong presence in private practice, delivering comprehensive general dental care to his patients. In 2015, registered as a Dentist in Australia and has been working full-time as a dental surgeon in New South Wales.

Hamza completed a three-year clinical doctorate in Prosthodontics at the University of Sydney and is registered as a specialist Prosthodontist in 2024.

Hamza has a keen interest in many areas of dentistry, including restorative and cosmetic dentistry, endodontics, oral surgery, preventive care, fixed prosthodontics, and implantology. He is committed to delivering high-quality care and staying at the forefront of advancements in the field. To ensure continued professional growth, he actively participates in continuing education and professional development programs.

Known for his calm and gentle demeanour, Dr Masood is deeply compassionate and attentive to the needs of his patients. His professionalism and genuine care consistently leave a lasting impression on those he treats.

Outside of dentistry, Dr. Masood is a sports enthusiast. As a teenager, he played professional squash and captained his school’s soccer team. He enjoys movies, music, travelling, and exploring new cuisines—but most of all, he cherishes spending quality time with his family.


Hayley Nguyen

Oral Health therapist and dental hygienist

Bachelor of Oral Health (Therapy and Hygiene – Charles Sturt University)

Hayley is an Oral Health Therapist who graduated from Charles Sturt University (BOHT); she is dual trained in both hygiene and dental therapy.

She has a friendly and warm nature that makes children and adults feel comfortable in the chair.  She believes in providing the best dental care for patients in the most gentle way.

Hayley is passionate about educating patients in the importance of maintaining good oral health.  She believes preventive oral care is the key to a better smile.

When she isn’t working on her spare time she likes to go hiking, enjoys cooking and spending time with her dogs.


Sam Dias

Sam has been actively involved in the dental laboratory profession since the early 1990s. In 2005, he completed a Diploma of Dental Technology, followed by an Advanced Diploma of Dental Prosthetics in 2010. As a registered dental prosthetist, Sam specialises in the design, fabrication, fitting, and maintenance of removable dentures, occlusal splints and mouthguards. He looks after with patients to create custom-made prosthetic devices that restore function, comfort, and aesthetics for those who have lost some or all of their natural teeth. Sam manages the entire process from consultation to delivery, ensuring a personalised and high-quality outcome for removable dentures. With expertise spanning both dental laboratory work and clinical prosthetic practice, Sam offers a unique dual perspective within the dental field.

Committed to ongoing professional development, Sam has travelled extensively, undertaking advanced training and courses around the world. His passion for innovation has driven him to integrate the latest technologies into his practice, continuously refining his skills and adopting cutting-edge techniques and materials.

In addition to his clinical and laboratory work, Sam conducts lectures and hands-on courses, sharing his experience and the protocols he has developed with fellow dental professionals.
